Chromatica Falls (2026)
Set for release in late 2026, Flumberico’s fourth studio album, Chromatica Falls, represents the band’s most ambitious and conceptual project yet. Described by frontwoman Lila Maren as “a descent into color and consciousness,” the album explores the emotional spectrum through sound—each song embodying a different hue, mood, and psychological state. It’s an audacious fusion of art, science, and pop, blurring the lines between sensory experience and emotion.

Where Branches Return turned outward toward the natural world, Chromatica Falls turns inward—examining the landscapes of the human mind. The album opens with “Violet Veins,” a haunting, dreamlike track symbolizing introspection and creative longing. It leads into “Crimson Static,” a pulsing electro-pop anthem about anger, frustration, and the search for control amid chaos. The track’s sharp percussion and distorted synths reflect the turbulence it describes.
In contrast, “Blue Sirens” captures melancholy and acceptance, layering ethereal harmonies over a gentle synthwave beat. Its lyrics—“I found peace in the undertow”—speak to surrender and resilience, a theme that runs throughout the record. The centerpiece, “Goldenfall,” represents joy in impermanence, fusing orchestral strings with glittering pop hooks in one of the band’s most euphoric compositions to date.
The album concludes with “White Echo,” a minimalist, nearly a cappella track symbolizing clarity and rebirth. As the music fades into silence, listeners are left with a feeling of stillness—a meditative release after an emotional spectrum of sound.
Musically, producer Jamie Kwon pushed the band toward avant-pop and experimental electronic influences, drawing inspiration from Björk, Imogen Heap, and classical minimalism. Chromatica Falls is both a concept and a confession—an exploration of emotion as energy, and sound as color.

If Electric Bloom was Flumberico’s sunrise, Chromatica Falls promises to be their Northern Lights.
